The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Talent Acquisition Partner with a strong background in the digital games and applications industry, particularly in free-to-play (F2P) mobile games, to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent for our growing Mattel Digital Studios organization, covering games, AI and other digital product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for roles that span product, marketing, analytics, creative, and operations within the publishing side of games and applications.
What Your Impact Will Be:
* Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes - from intake meetings and sourcing strategies to offer negotiation and onboarding - for publishing-related roles in the digital games and applications space.
* Strategic Talent Sourcing: Proactively identify and attract talent across publishing disciplines including UA/Growth, Marketing, LiveOps, Product Management, UI/UX Design, Analytics, Data Science, and Community Management.
* Channels Beyond LinkedIn: Own a channel strategy beyond LinkedIn (e.g., Deconstructor of Fun, Hitmarker, Amir Satvat, ArtStation Jobs, Games Jobs Direct; relevant Slack/Discord communities) and optimize paid/free distribution to reach the right craft audiences.
* Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends, talent movements, and competitive intelligence within the digital games and applications ecosystem to inform recruiting strategies.
* Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and executives to define role requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
* Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future openings.
* Employer Branding: Represent the company authentically in the gaming community to strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice for games and applications professionals.
* Recruiting Metrics: Track and report on key recruiting metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve hiring efficiency and quality.
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of recruiting experience within the digital games industry.
* Proven success recruiting for roles on the publishing side (e.g., marketing, UA, product, community, analytics).
* Strong knowledge of the global games and applications talent landscape and an established network within the mobile games and applications community.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Comfortable partnering with senior leadership and influencing hiring decisions with data-driven insights.
* Commitment to building diverse hiring slates through targeted community partnerships.
* Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player communities and market dynamics.
* The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
