Engages in specialized departmental activities (e.g., documenting medication histories, chemotherapy IV compounding, preparing sterile IV medications, inventorying narcotics, or maintaining pharmacy inventory). Assists in training/educating lower-level pharmacy technicians. Direct Supervision. A pharmacist gives specific instructions on all assignments.
