Graduate of Surgical Technologist training program, with active and maintained CST Certification from AST or NCCT, OR completion of a Hospital Based Surgical Tech Program, equivalent Military experience and a minimum of 1 year working experience.

Your Role:
* Dedicated to CT Surgery, in collaboration with the surgical team (and others), participates in surgical patients' perioperative assessments.
* Assists surgeons (under direction/supervision of the same) during surgical or invasive operative procedures.
* Participates in postoperative rounds and treatments; evaluates patients' progress toward obtaining desired outcomes.
* Assess patients' and/or family members' knowledge level; provides appropriate education to same.
* Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
* Associate degree in nursing.
* Successful completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) program accredited by the Association of peri Operative Registered Nurses (AORN).
Preferred Education:
* Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Required Experience:
* Two (2) years of perioperative registered nursing experience.
Preferred Experience:
* Two (2) years of perioperative first assistance experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
* Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certified instructor.

* One or more of the following:
* Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential from AORN.
