    Primary purpose: To implement and maintain electrical power circuits and equipment, control and automation systems, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pipeline, pump stations, compressor stations, and measurement facilities. Minimum requirements: Education: Associates degree from an accredited institution in a technical field or a related discipline. Experience/Specific Knowledge: Understand and operate electronic test instruments. Excellent record of safe work practices. Working knowledge and experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits. Working knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams. Working knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.) Working knowledge of National Electric Codes. Certifications, Licenses & Registrations: May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel). Essential duties and responsibilities: Responsible for all activities related to electrical and control integrity including design, installation, inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and adjust various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and Programmable Logic (PLC) control systems. Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment. Perform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on all control systems. Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution. Perform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing and troubleshooting. Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testing. Evaluation/development/implementation/maintenance of facility grounding systems. Responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping duties of all facilities and equipment as needed. Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, regulatory, and tariff requirements. Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns. Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork. Oversee the construction, maintenance and/or work activities performed by third parties. Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence. Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism. Must communicate clearly using high level verbal and listening skills.
