Gregory Babcock is a VP/Chief Accounting Officer at TALOS ENERGY INC. and is based in Greater Houston. He has worked as Audit Manager at Deloitte, Controller at TALOS ENERGY INC., and M&A Transaction Services Manager at Deloitte. Gregory attended Texas A&M University.

As an energy executive and director, I have diverse leadership experience in upstream exploration and production in both the U.S. Onshore and Gulf of Mexico; midstream gathering, processing and transportation and marketing; operations and finance; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. I have successfully led public companies through the uncertainties of mergers, take-private transactions, reorganizations, integrations, and a pandemic and the resulting economic downturn. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to manage the challenges of high-growth businesses and recognize, assess, and mitigate technical and above-ground risks.

At Talos Energy, I am leading the company’s rapidly developing decarbonization business focused on Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CSS) along the U.S. Gulf Coast and advancing Sustainability and ESG initiatives.
