Designs learning, delivers training, and facilitates organizational change. Measures and evaluates impact of education and contributes to the improvement of human performance. Participates in management of the learning function, team member coaching, career planning, talent management, and managing organizational knowledge. Leads programs or workgroups and provides internal clinical professional development consulting. As assigned, responsible for the oversight of all divisional education activities. Performs other duties as assigned to include 8 clinical bedside hours, on a monthly basis, in area of specialty. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and three years related experience. Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Project, Publisher, and Front Page desired. OR experience preferred WORKING CONDITIONSWork performed in a normal office setting and in classrooms. Involves walking, standing, keyboard activities. Extensive interaction with all levels of team members. Mobile throughout all areas of hospital, clinics, and external locations. This position has been evaluated as a Level 1 in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) definition of occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. This is a short-term contracted position requiring a commitment of 36-40 hrs./week for 12-13 weeks. This is a full-time 7:00 AM-7:00 PM position. This position is at our Baptist Downtown location. In this role you will work closely with skilled physicians and operating teams. Your day will start with a check-in and patient assignments. Depending on the day's surgery schedule you may work with a singular patient for a complex case, or you may work with multiple patients having shorter procedures. As a circulator you will only ever work with one patient at a time. You will meet your patients in the OR, and you will remain with them for the duration of their procedure and ensure they are appropriately cared for until transferred to PACU care. As a nurse circulator you will be the patient's primary advocate, responsible for the delivery and documentation of patient care during the intra-operative period. This may include verifying patient information, positioning the patient, managing the room, and initiating counts. This is a full-time, Monday through Thursday, shift opportunity from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am. No weekends, no Holidays. May require occasional late shifts. EP experience preferred. In this role, the EP RN will be part of one of the region's most comprehensive cardiovascular care teams at the area's only freestanding hospital for heart and vascular care. Electrophysiology EP Registered Nurse RN for the Heart Center, Essential Job Functions: * The electrophysiology RN will provide care to patients during procedures. RN will evaluate patient readiness before the procedure and communicate any concerns to the performing Physician. * RN will collaborate with the pre-procedure nurse to ensure patients have been prepped, educated, and are ready for their procedure. * RN will provide continuous assessment and support during procedures such as Ablations and implantation of cardiac devices. * RN will cross-train to fill the scrub and monitor role during electrophysiology procedures, IE, scrub with the physician at the procedure table to assist, record, and document procedures as they are performed. * RN will be required to wear X-ray lead and assist with the transport of the patient to the recovery bay with anesthesia. * RN will be providing moderate sedation during some procedures that are not covered by anesthesia. * RN will provide hand-off communication to the receiving RN in the recovery bay and other receiving areas for post-care. Pay Range: $34. 71/hr - $46. 84/hr depending on experience. Qualifications Degrees:Associates. Licenses & Certifications:Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate. Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Additional Qualifications:Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing. RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN. RNs hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) with an Associate's degree will have 5 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree.
