    This position will work with the Program Director to help with the set-up of the playing surface and ensuring that all equipment is available for all scheduled programming. This role will also welcome and greet all parents and program participants on game days and practice nights. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Works and communicates effectively with the kids, parents, coaches, and staff. * Effectively sets up fields/courts and has proper equipment available. * Routinely inspects equipment to ensure it is in good working condition before and after use. * Return equipment upon completion of class and reports repairs/maintenance needed and cleans area as needed. * Ensures safety protocols at all times, reporting accidents or incidents immediately. * Establishes and maintains a professional and positive image and rapport with members and students. * Performs additional functions or assume additional responsibilities as needed or as requested by the Program Director or supervisor. * Adheres to the Association operating policies and procedures by operating the programs within the guidelines set forth. * Follows YMCA policies and procedures regarding the safety, health and welfare of members, program participants, guests and staff; responds to emergency situations in accordance to facility policies and certification requirements. * Attends and actively participates in all trainings, staff meetings/in-services as assigned. Our 55,000 sq. ft. facility includes an indoor gym, expansive wellness floor, dedicated personal training studio, two group exercise rooms, pickleball space, youth development areas, and a versatile multi-use space. The ideal leader will empower and elevate a seasoned wellness team featuring multiple association top-ten personal trainers and a robust group exercise program offering more than 60 classes each week. The Wellness Director I leads center wellness staff members in all member connection and retention initiatives related to the wellness center and wellness programming. The Director I will manage the day-to-day operations of health and wellness programs and wellness floor operations. This position provides direct leadership for personal training, group training, group exercise, healthy living programs, youth conditioning programs, and wellness floor staff; directly supervising and developing these staff teams to provide the highest quality service and exceptional member experience for all in small to mid-sized centers. This position is responsible for managing the wellness related financials, relationship building, supervision of staff, volunteer development and for being a YMCA advocate in the community. A strong focus is placed on driving a superior member experience, enhancing the membership connection/engagement, thereby leading to increasing member satisfaction and retention. This position employs a continuous improvement model to meet and/or exceed goals for satisfaction, budgeted revenue/expense goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Quality and Growth * Focus on implementing strategic plan initiatives, best practices and the elevation of wellness programming. * This includes: personal training, group training, group exercise, healthy living programs, youth conditioning programs, and direct leadership to wellness floor staff members. * Develop and implement association survey and measurement strategies and action plans - Base Metrics and NPS. * Exceed personal training and small group training revenues compared to budget. * Provide leadership to personal trainers to ensure they have all of the tools to exceed personal training budgets and metrics. * Ensure members have access to/and promote orientations with wellness coaches/personal trainers. * Promote Inbody scans to new and existing members. * Manage group exercise class schedule to expectations utilizing budgets, association formula, NPS scores, etc. Membership Engagement and Retention * Increase member connection and commitment to YMCA programs and services ensuring the member experience is consistent, integrated and aligned to YMCA goals including: * Reviews data about member satisfaction and interests to ensure connection to programs, services, and other members. * Collaborates regularly with center leadership, program operations, and other related teams to ensure the member experience is consistent, integrated and aligned with member needs. * Oversees new and returning member orientation to ensure effective onboarding to include wellness and program teams. * Implements relationship development strategies to increase membership engagement and retention. Wellness Center Operations * Provides leadership to wellness center operations and administration to ensure a best in class membership experience. * Supervises/coaches a team of wellness coaches that assist members in meeting their wellness goals. * Ensures adherence to all YMCA policies and procedures regarding the safety, health and welfare of members, program participants, guests and staff. * Ensure the fitness equipment is kept in good working condition and is clean for members to use. Active Older Adults Growth * Drive senior membership revenue and Silver Sneakers revenue through gate swipes. * Coordinates the schedule for Silver Sneakers classes and activities, manages staff schedule for related programs, and maintains the inventory of related program equipment. * Provides a visible presence in the centers and actively interacts with senior members to ensure their needs are met. * Actively stewards relationships between seniors within the centers by introducing them to other members, and using member profiles and interactions to tailor suggestions for new activities Team Leadership * Direct responsibility to hire, develop, motivate and retain a team of wellness staff members committed to the YMCA's mission and Promise * Advocates for association-wide practices and is a source for innovative ways to grow the membership experience, base, and practices through wellness. * Provides collaborative leadership and guidance to peers through association-wide wellness meetings, direct one-on-one best practice sharing with peers both in and outside the center. * Develops and monitors staff member development plans and training opportunities that promote career growth within the Y. * Completes all job related, supervisory and other trainings as required. * Is a collaborative partner to the family center leadership staff serving as a Leader on Duty weekly and rotating weekends. Education/ Experience Required: * BA/BS in exercise science or related field; or equivalent experience preferred. * Minimum of two years of experience in wellness programming, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred. * Must understand how to build relationships and have strong interpersonal skills. * Have the ability to lead a strong staff team that is focused on creating a welcoming environment and providing a superior member experience for all members, at all times. * Must have a proven track record and a passion for exercise, nutrition, healthy living and helping others live a healthier lifestyle.     Under the direction of the Early Head Start (EHS) Program Director the Family Services and Community Engagement Specialist is responsible to apply professional expertise and over-sight in the ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility and Attendance) Department, ensuring that the agency complies with all regulations per applicable Performance Standards. Analyze, plan, implement and provide training on enrollment systems for the department. Maintain on-going contact with families and work with all other components of Head Start such as (health, nutrition, mental health, special services, parent engagement and resource/referral) to integrate services into the family setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Managing Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance. * Provide input and solutions to develop and or revise the agency's ERSEA systems, policy and procedures. * Process Head Start applications and screen for qualifications under Head Start program guidelines. * Conduct orientations for all families that will be entering the EHS program. * Ensure sites maintain funded enrollment level and waiting list, as well as fill vacancies as needed. * Monitor attendance of children in assigned classes and follow up on absences as necessary. * Analyze causes of absenteeism when average daily attendance falls below 85%. * Analyzing community assessment information and facilitate planning efforts to determine design options, recruitment efforts and enrollment guidelines for Head Start. * Maintain and monitor comprehensive and eligibility files on an ongoing basis. * Maintain, monitor and submit required reports by established deadlines. * Complete a Family Needs Assessment as well as Family Partnership Agreements with assigned families and make appropriate referrals to community resources. Maintain regular contact with families to keep abreast of needs and interest using various forms of communication including home visits if needed. * Provide information to parents for health screenings and follow up appointments as indicated for Head Start children and ensure required follow up is completed. Maintain health records for assigned children. * Provide quality health and social services to Head Start children and families, according to Head Start guidelines * Provide support needed to encourage and assist families in their own efforts to improve the condition and quality of their family life. * Conduct transition meetings with families that have children age 30 months, to provide a smooth transition process from Early Head Start to Head Start. * Monitor and update our Head Start Management System (ChildPlus) on a weekly and monthly basis. * Conduct recruitment activities which include agency and community outreach/events, and distribution of materials as assigned. * Participate in staff and parent meetings. Attend other meetings and workshops as assigned. * Recruit parents for parent committee as well as policy committee * With support from operations, program director and administration director, plans and leads policy committee meetings in which long and short-term goals for improvement are established. * Maintain, monitor and submit required reports by established deadlines; reviews and analyzes monthly reports including attendance. Reports to operations and program director any data discrepancies or concerns. * Create and submit weekly and monthly enrollment reports for Grantee Family and Community Engagement Manager * Assisting Administration Director in the planning and coordination of special events (health and program events, e.g. dental bus, lead, winter wonderland etc.), ensuring all logistics are in place and timelines are met. * Assist Administration Director when needed inputting Health Documents into the Head Start Management System (ChildPlus). * Create and conduct monthly parent meetings. * Perform other duties as assigned. Education/ Experience Required: * Bachelor's Degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field, or attain within eighteen months of hire, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. * Minimum 1 year Early Head Start (EHS)/Head Start (HS) experience preferred. * Ability to establish effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisor and families. * Possess Strong verbal and written communication effective organizational skills including time management and prioritization skills. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The senior program director will be responsible for delivering youth development services as outlined by the Community School Director to include organization-wide standards and consistencies throughout all programs. The Senior Program Director will provide supervision to multiple department staff teams driving superior program quality, meeting program enrollments, and enhancing participant experience specifically in the area of achievement, relationships and belonging. This position ensures that their teams operate efficiently and employs a continuous improvement model to meet and/or exceed goals for participant satisfaction, financial management and overall growth. This position is a senior member of the Sulphur Springs YMCA senior leadership program team. The Senior Program Director requires strong skills in hiring, staffing, scheduling, quality execution, budget management, relationship management and programming at the director and above level. They are excellent coaches, responsible leaders who are able to interface with all levels of an organization. Day to day operations include relationship management with school staff and community partners, coaching associates toward successful programming and collaborating on decisions for new program development. The Senior Program Director is responsible updating budget, documenting and forecasting whenever required and occasional invoicing and partnering with external vendors as needed. The Senior Program Director creates an environment where Program directors and associates are able to optimize all associate talent on his/her team, conduct mock audits and skills practice sessions, share best practices with other regional Senior Program Directors and handle any family or associate escalations that may occur.
