Deliver from the comfort of your own vehicle! As a seasonal support driver (SSD), you'll deliver packages to communities and businesses from your personal vehicle. This is a friendly, physically active role, so you'll need to enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and safely being behind the wheel.
This position requires schedule flexibility since work will be assigned in the morning based on operational needs and your availability.
You may experience a short waiting period between when you're hired and your first day on the job. Our team will keep you in the loop every step of the way via text.

Campus Safety Officers are responsible to the Director of Campus Safety through the command structure for the protection of life and property on the McDaniel College campus. Officers work variable shifts and are expected to be available for occasional overtime, and holiday work. Additional training occurring both on and off campus will be assigned. Specific Responsibilities
A. Provide patrols throughout campus noting and/or documenting safety hazards, rule infractions, law violations, and suspicious activities.
* Make assigned rounds, by foot, bicycle, or motor, of all campus areas (interior and exterior), or be stationed at fixed posts, ensuring hazards such as: fire, flood, intruder, injury, safety code violations, maintenance issues, etc. are noted and corrected, and laws or rules are being obeyed.
* Provide information to campus community and visitors.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Current student at McDaniel with work study. Priority will be given to Art majors and minors.
* Knowledge of tools and materials used in creating art, including, tapes, glues, fiber materials, hand tools and power tools.
* Successful completion of Art courses, which may include any one or more of the following: 2D Design Concepts, 3D Design Concepts
* Strong communication skills
* Highly organized and detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects at once and complete projects by hard deadlines.
* Ability to transform themes and ideas into works of art and design, including installation, sculpture and have the ability to convey that knowledge to students.
* Evidence of art and/or design experience in a portfolio format (PDF, Canva or PowerPoint presentation) will be required during the interview process.
* Letter of recommendation from a faculty member or supervisor.
Physical Characteristics:
* The position requires working in a classroom setting adjacent to a wood shop, sometimes working with power tools, glues, plaster, and other materials that may be heavy, or messy, which may need lifting and vigorous cleaning.
* Due to the activity of students in various stages of their projects, the classroom assistant will need to walk around for the 3 hours of class time, offering feedback and sometimes aiding with tools and materials.
* Classroom assistant will aid in directing and assisting clean-up and organization of the two classrooms and woodshop.
