Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed. Performs setups and adjustments of machinery for assembling metal chain parts Interprets job specifications and reads blueprints. Inspects products to verify conformance utilizing various measuring devices. Assembles parts to product specifications per print. Maintains record keeping for jobs and inventory. Coordinates with others to achieve maximum throughput and meet department and company goals. Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety regulations. Operates material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, cranes and hoists. Uses good judgment and works in a safe responsible manner. Other tasks/functions as assigned. General knowledge and ability to safely use hand tools. Other tasks, functions and projects as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered 1 - 2 years manufacturing related experience. Ability to input to and retrieve from computer based software programs. Able to perform moderately active work typical of a manufacturing plant environment. Examples include pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, bending, twisting.
