DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive and operate a minimum of two types of heavy equipment including but not limited to 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Single Roll-Off Trucks.
Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
Prepare Haz-Mat & Non-Haz manifests.
Maintain full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, daily ELD logs, timesheets and vehicle inspection reports.
Perform simple maintenance and cleaning of response vehicle and assigned truck.
Perform various housekeeping and custodial duties as required.
Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on uncontrolled stand-by.
Work long hours and overtime, including days, nights or weekend shifts.
Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Comply with the Random Drug Testing Program.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.
Current Commercial Driver License, required. Class A preferred.
Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, required.
40-hour HAZWOPER required.
2 - 5 years of experience in heavy equipment driving and operation required.

Summary
Driving and operating of a specific service vehicle (tow trucks, battery service vehicles/light service vehicles), and operating towing equipment for AAA members and for commercial purposes. Drives a white bus/van, yellow mini bus or other motorized vehicle for the purpose of transporting students to applicable locations, including field trips and special events.
Maintains attendance records, seating charts, disciplinary documentation, and updated student information; communicates via two-way radio to dispatch, communicates to parents, students, Administrators, and/or other applicable individuals.
Monitors activities to ensure proper student conduct at all times, and adherence to appropriate disciplinary controls.
Performs pre- and post vehicle inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards.
Performs routine cleaning and maintenance activities; conducts re-fueling activities, to include maintaining assigned fuel use logs; reports perceived or potential school vehicle defects in a timely and efficient manner to appropriate District personnel.
Transports students according to established routing sheets; ensures maintenance of periodic routing updates.

We are now hiring Class A TruckDrivers without experience. Qualified applicants must have graduated from an accredited Academy with at least 120 hours of instruction within the last 2 years. We ask for a copy of your certificate of completion or transcripts for us to verify your total hours.
After you worked hard to get your Class A CDL your finding out, no one will hire you. OTR is actually known as sleeping in the truck in 3 separate states besides your home state. It does not mean you'll be gone for 3-4 weeks at a time.
Our training it is similar to basic training in the military. Your first 30 days will be spend driving OTR with a trainer for 30 days straight. You will not get home during that first month. After training you'll want to unwind for a few days taking 2-5 days off.
After which you'll then sit down with your driver manager and get a company truck assigned to you. At this point your benefits will kick in as well. You'll chose from several different openings.
At this time we are hiring for 15 openings for Class A drivers without experience. We offer excellent pay, excellent benefits and several home time options. After training you will be expected to run regionally getting home every week or OTR getting home every 10-14 days. Don't plan on working locally. Local runs do become available often, however when you first start don't plan on driving locally.
After you build your experience for several months you'll then be able to acquire many other positions including local and dedicated runs.
We have several different opportunities, such as dry van, reefer and flatbed. We also offer tuition reimbursement available for those who paid upfront yourself to go to school. Up to $1,000. It's like a sign on bonus for trainees.
The process is simple...
As soon as our HR team receives your application, we will call you and conduct a short phone interview to qualify you. Once we determine your eligibility, we will then review all of the position details with you and move forward with the application process.
We then start the application with you. After that we will email you a link to complete the second part on your own.
Then your application will be reviewed by a HR admin processor.
Once you are approved, you will be scheduled for driver qualification. DQP (driver qualification process) lasts normally 1-2 days. If you reside outside a 50 mile radius from DQP we reserve a hotel room for you. We provide breakfast at the hotel, lunch will be catered in.
After you complete DQP, you will be hired and go out with a driver trainer for 4 weeks. At this point you earn $650 per week during this time.
Once training is complete, you will then take 2-5 days at home to wind down after your training. You will then become a solo driver and move into a full time position. After which your pay will increase to anywhere from $1,200 - $1,400+ per week. Home times will vary depending on the run. (OTR, regional or dedicated)
Also after your first 30 days you will also be eligible for our full benefits package: Dental, vision, medical and 401k retirement, $10k in company paid life insurance, disability insurance and paid vacation as well.
