Position Summary
We are looking for truck and trailer drivers to deliver and distribute Mutual Materials product along I-90 through the Spokane region. You will be driving a Western Star truck and trailer with Moffit setup. Primary duties include the loading, unloading and delivery of Mutual Materials products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, as well as verifying product delivery counts and paperwork. As a member of our distribution and delivery team, promoting positive customer relations is a critical part of this position. This position operates within the Spokane region, returning home every day. This is a non-union position, and pay is dependent on experience.
This is a night driver position. Monday-Friday from 6:00pm to 2:30am.
Mutual Materials provides a $0.75 shift differential for nights; If you should later move to days, you will no longer be eligible for the differential.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience driving tandem axle and/or flatbed trucks.
A current class "A" CDL license and will satisfactorily complete all Federal DOT requirements.
This position calls for an individual with good verbal communication skills; previous customer service experience is a plus.
Any applicant should be able to lift up to 75 pounds and have the ability to work independently, but also as part of a face-paced distribution team.
Prior knowledge of Mutual Materials products and the ability to operate a Forklift is a plus.
Must be willing and able to work overtime.
