JOB SUMMARY:
The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. Our Class A Drivers start at $30.50/hour
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tuesday - Saturday start time between 12am-2am
3rd shift at least one weekend day.
Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by Medline's safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
Provide in-person support to the customer - addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.
Qualifications:
Multiple stop delivery experience
2 years+ of Class A driving experience
Current/valid CDLA and DOT medical card
Local, home daily
City driving required
Touch Freight experience

About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Templeton, MA)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, driving a Class B CDL truck, pulling hoses, operating manufacturing units control systems, and climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.

What you will be doing
This is a blended role that consists of 40% driving and 60% physical work
Pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles, including checking and filling fluid levels
Ability to safely hook up and unhook trailers
Drives emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks
Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled, and stored according to requirements
Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimization and control
Report all unusual incidents and accidents immediately
Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
What you will bring

EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
Experience with pallet jack
Experience driving a box truck
Have excellent customer service skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 -15 pounds.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities:
The Hunger Prevention Truck Driver role is responsible for pickups from the Greater Boston Food Bank to the YMCA Distribution Center.
This position reports to the Director of Nutrition Education, Partnerships, and Warehouse Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Picks up food pallets from Greater Boston Food Bank according to schedule
Unloading all food from Greater Boston Food Bank at the Hunger Prevention Distribution Center
Maintains cleanliness of YMCA vans/trucks
Reports van/truck maintenance needs in a timely manner
Safely transports grocery bags from the distribution center to various community sites on a needs-based basis
Support any duties within the Hunger Prevention Department
