Key responsibilities include ensuring personal and passenger safety, strictly adhering to traffic laws both on and off campus, maintaining punctuality, and preparing vehicles in advance, particularly during extreme weather conditions. Drivers are expected to create positive and meaningful interactions with all passengers while maintaining a high standard of service that reflects the values of Hebrew SeniorLife. II. Core Competencies * Always wear a seat belt while driving. * Maintain a professional appearance at all times. * Comply with all safety rules and regulations. * Keep the NBOC transportation vehicle clean and tidy. * Maintain a Class D license. * Be familiar with the geography of Boston, Massachusetts. * Obtain BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification within six months of hire; certifications provided in-house (recommended).
