Supports the setup, maintenance, and logistics of event equipment and inventory to ensure seamless execution of event operations. This role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and transporting event materials and from event sites. The Equipment Associate works closely with event coordinators, operations staff, and vendors to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service. Interact with the dining room/lounge guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests * Manage the collection, movement, distribution, and requestion of venue inventory and equipment * Mobilize large furniture and equipment throughout the venue * Execute equipment pulls and returns independently, following event-specific requirements provided by Venue Managers * Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the tables and surrounding area including floor * Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs * Assist Manager with setup, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing system as needed * Responsible for the collection, movement, distribution, and requisition of events inventory and equipment for each event * Coordinate with third-party vendors and building/facilities teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with building regulations * Ensure all work is completed within building compliance guidelines and safety protocols * Mobilize large furniture and equipment throughout the Venue * Perform equipment pulls and returns independently based on the specific needs of the event as outlined by the Venue Managers * Perform light handyman work, including minor repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance * Maintain accurate inventory count both pre and post event * Maintain communication with management throughout events to ensure all equipment is present * Access storage needs and communicates with team accordingly * Report/document any missing/broken items to management * Maintain storage organization and cleanliness to ensure smooth event service * Oversee the receiving and returning of packages related to venue operations * Support general upkeep of shared storage spaces * Provide general event, facility, and venue operational support as needed * Upkeep of our shared storage spaces * Receiving and returning of packages TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: * Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Equipment Associate training * EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: * Minimum 1 year experience receiving and handling inventory required * Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge * Basic handyman skills and experience with light repair and maintencance work * SKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE The work environment characteristics and/or physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
