SCADA Engineer will be responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise in design, development and delivery of Hanwha Convergence SCADA/PPC solutions for the renewable energy industry. He or She will design, develop work packages, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the SCADA system including RTUs, RTACs, HMI, and electrical control systems on large scale PV and/or BESS projects. He or She also will conduct applicable tests and commissioning complying with local/international codes and standards.

DUTIES:
· Lead and manage the assigned projects with available resources for successful projects completion in a due date and a budget.
· Provide project status reports to stakeholders, and support risk mitigation measures as needed to maintain project goals and objectives.
· Lead the development of monitoring and control systems for utility scale renewable energy projects including but not limited to: Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems.
· Provide team oversight in the development of device points lists, IP address lists, Logic Diagrams, HMI mockups & assets, commissioning test plans and completion checklists, utilizing company defined documentation and standards.
· Work within a team environment to define and implement product design standards and best practices that align with company goals and objectives.
· Program and commission PPC, SCADA servers, data historians, and HMI systems.
· Develop engineering work packages, construction work packages, inspection and test procedures, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and operation and maintenance procedures.
· Identify applicable standards and collateral standards for the diverse applicable sites.
· Lead any design changes required to ensure standards compliance or continuous improvement.
· Perform technical presentations to clients including SCADA, PPC(Plant Power Control), and HEIS(Hanwha Energy Integration System) but not limited.
· Mentor and train the less experienced engineers and technicians.
· Conduct/facilitate risk analysis activities as required.
· Perform other duties and/or tasks as required.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
· Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering preferred.
· Minimum 2+ years' direct experience in Ignition SCADA application, and other SCADA application engineering experience considered as an asset.
· Schweitzer Engineering RTAC Platform experience considered as an asset.
· Strong knowledge of design, installation and commissioning of SCADA networks using; Fiber Optics, Serial RS-232 / RS-485, Ethernet TCP/IP, MQTT.
· Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols including but not limited to; Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA and DA.
· Proficiency in reading and developing diagrams and schematics including but not limited to, power system, networking and control, electrical, mechanical and civil layouts.
· Ability to solve problems and identify root causes as a part of investigation.
· In-depth understanding of power plant operating procedures and control system interaction with governing bodies such as: Regional Compliance Entities, Independent System Operators (CAISO, ERCOT experience preferred), Transmission Operators, and Generator Operators.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Ability to communicate effectively in English.
· Communication in Korean is considered as an asset.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· This position can be offered with work from home. However, it's preferred to be at the office at Georgetown, TX and the candidates to be hired may be eligible for relocation assistance
· Fast paced with priorities that often change to meet current priorities.

Summary:
The Engineer will report to the Manager of Engineering as a part of the Technical Operations team and will provide engineering support to the Division Liquid Pipeline Operations. Primary focus includes working closely with Operations to provide day-to-day engineering and technical support, coordination with other company departments, and full project lifecycle execution.
Essential Functions:
* Provides day-to-day engineering and technical support to liquid pipeline operations.
* Performs hydraulic calculations and simulations. Helps with MOP determination and Surge Studies. Helps with Power and DRA budgeting and management. Updates P&ID's.
* Provide operating, alarming, and shutdown set points for liquid pipeline operations.
* Participate in MOC process for engineering review and sign-off.
* Executes full project lifecycle for operations Maintenance Capital and Expense Projects.
* Reviews potential exposures and relocations.
* Supports investigations by providing technical expertise for: Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOC's), Mechanical/Electrical/Control (MEC) failures, Environmental/Health/Safety (EHS) incidents.
* Support liquid pipeline operations during DOT Inspections.

Job Summary:
The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of SCADA systems for our renewable energy projects. This role requires an understanding of SCADA systems, renewable energy technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our energy assets.

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer working on satellite systems to join our team located in Englewood, CO. This role is well-suited for someone looking to expand their career as a Project Engineer, combining technical expertise with program management support. As a key member of the program leadership team, you will be responsible for driving engineering execution and advancing GA-EMS satellite products and technologies. The position includes leading cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges, establishing efficient execution processes, and presenting at technical and program milestone reviews. It also involves collaborating across organizations, mentoring emerging talent, and providing regular updates to senior leadership. This position reports to the Project Engineering Manager, Space Programs.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Responsible for planning and execution of engineering development efforts on new or existing programs, and implementation of the engineering processes to ensure overall program success. Develop and execute program plans to conform to cost, schedule, production, and performance commitments.
+ Lead engineering activities for a cross-functional engineering team on a program.
+ Manage program resources by defining needs and working with the functional organizations to identify and secure appropriate staffing.
+ Support technical leadership on product design, development, and improvement projects in concert with Program Management.
+ Actively manage risks by working with Program Management and Engineering in identification of risks, developing risk strategies, tracking risks, and assessing their overall impact to cost and schedule on a program.
+ Actively monitor for, and assist with management of, any cost, schedule, or technical scope changes on a program. Work with Program Management in implementation of change management processes and work with engineering in evaluation and potential incorporation of scope changes on a program.
+ Represent the project team's efforts to the engineering functional organization.
+ Represent the engineering functional organization to Project Management.
+ Communicate with engineering professionals, stakeholders, and management throughout the engineering development cycle and represent the company as a prime technical contact on contracts and/or projects.
+ Present engineering work products in periodic and milestone reviews to senior staff and customers.
+ Assist in the management and execution of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with the Program Management Plan (PMP):
+ Organize all engineering work to support the IMS and overall budget
+ Lead coordination of engineering inputs to program IMS
+ Provide day-to-day prioritization of tasks as planned in the IMS
+ Work with Program Management, Engineering, and Project Controls to update task forecasts and engineering manpower estimates
+ Track and report schedule metrics and provide assessments for performance correction if needed.
+ Evaluate IMS critical path and assess schedule compression and/or schedule risk reduction opportunities
+ Coordinate and drive engineering tasks and actions to closure in a timely fashion while providing updates to the Program Management Office and senior leadership.
+ Responsible for the execution and implementation of engineering processes: design, development, integration, test and performance verification.
+ Facilitate preparation and execution of major program milestone reviews such as System Requirement Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Operations Readiness Review (ORR), ensuring entrance and exit criteria are satisfied.
+ Formulate plans, typically long-term, for solution(s) development, documentation, and deployment, as well as meeting various compliance, reporting, and safety standards.
+ Keep comprehensive notes/records, provide formal documentation following established processes, and make technical presentations, as required.
+ Lead support for proposals/white papers and interfaces with customers as well as providing formal documentation to make technical presentations as required.
+ Work with functional engineering leads to develop Basis of Estimates for engineering support on formal proposals and assessment of changes on existing projects.
