This position impacts the success of the organization by implementing, monitoring, and supporting solid safety strategies that allow all employees to work safely, efficiently and with the authority to stop work if unsafe to proceed. The EHS Manager will assist TAS Environmental and Specialized Waste Systems Employees, Supervisors, Safety Champions, and Leadership to continually improve the company Safety Culture, strengthen Risk Management, plus implement successful Industry Best Practices. The EHS Manager may be asked to help develop or implement EHS Safety Programs, Engineering Controls, Employee Training, Behavior Based Safety Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and more as needed. The EHS Manager will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client requirements, plus help identify changes in the scope of work or equipment, to eliminate occupational hazards at jobsites, or at work facilities. The EHS Manager will develop corrective actions, update administrative controls, ensure project personnel are adequately trained in Emergency Response Plan Procedures, ensuring that all incidents, safety emergencies, or employee injuries are properly managed. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Strong working knowledge of OSHA, audit procedures and attention to detail Ability to coach and teach proper safety practices RESPONSIBILITIES Promote up-to-date safety audit techniques, use approved EHS evaluation methods, or assist with external audit teams as needed. Serve as the EHS subject matter expert, supporting Employees, Supervisors, Safety Champions, or clients to improve best practices, safe work methods, and processes. Ensure every incident is managed immediately during and after business hours. Manage emergency contact information for occupational clinics, minor emergency centers, Emergency Action Plans, law enforcement or first responder contacts, to support all minor to serious incident. Ensure EHS evaluations are completed regularly at jobsites, company owned facilities, and other company associated operations to identify EHS attributes, areas for EHS improvements, or to identify vehicle, heavy equipment, work equipment, or mechanical deficiencies that need to be corrected to avoid EHS Impacts. Ensure the evaluations are entered into the EHS Momentum Safety Management System. Perform site visits as part of inspections Provide technical assistance to Supervisors during incidents, investigations, chemical spills, and other emergency responses. Manage all minor medical to major medical emergencies involving employees assigned to company job sites, preserving employee privacy and HIPAA compliance. Inspect work areas and create a written report at least monthly to summarize facility, or field audit findings. The report will be designed to promote positive EHS attributes, good catches, employee contributions, deficiencies that were corrected, unsafe behaviors, unsafe conditions, or corrective measure that were taken to reduce future incidents. Ensure Employee, and Supervisor EHS Impact investigations for all near-miss, incident, and accidents, or Third-Party reports of property damage are documented at the end of every shift. These reports will be entered into EHS Momentum system immediately, on the same day, or as soon as practical during life threating events or natural disaster type incidents. Ensure significant post-impact, post-accident, or post employee injury Workers Compensation reports are completed to determine contributing factors, and basic root cause(s) of the accident and corrective actions to be taken to prevent reoccurrence. Guide and assist work personnel to ensure a clean, safe, healthy, and environmentally sound workplace exists and is maintained. Act as primary on-site technical resource in the area of general regulatory compliance as it relates to EHS. Ensure required EHS related inspections and audits are performed daily, weekly, or monthly and document proper corrective actions, and follow up when necessary. Ensure all required EHS related employee training is identified and conducted as required e.g., monthly, semi-annually, or weekly, when needed. Ensure site specific training is completed via Contractor Safety Council or Client orientation is completed within the agreed time frame. Maintain Atlantic Employee Training System, Client Questionnaires, Contractor MS, ISNetworld, Aveda, EcoVadis, US Coast Guard OSRO certification, Safety Equipment Inventory, Veriforce, and more Periodically help develop, review, or update EHS programs, policies, and procedures for all business lines, and recommend changes where necessary. Work alongside site Employees, Supervisor, Safety Champions, and Leadership to eliminate EHS hazards. Maintain open lines of communication 24-7, weekends, holidays, during and after business hours by cell phone with Employees and Leadership. Ensure Job Safety Analyses, and Hazard Risk Assessments are up to date, have been communicated to the Employees, and appropriate personal protective equipment and other safeguards are adequately identified and in use. Periodically help initiate work orders for repair of complex machinery and safety equipment, as needed with respect to EHS program requirements. Maintain all required EHS records and ensure mandatory reporting requirements are met. Coordinate with HR and Workman's Compensation personnel as needed when an injury occurs. Ensure Chemical Inventory List, Safety Data Sheets, labels, signage, and other hazardous communication information regarding chemicals used in the workplace. Ensure FMCSA-DOT record keeping and reporting requirements associated with FMCSA, environmental permits, storm water permits, are maintained as needed to safeguard local, state, and federal environmental compliance. Act as primary contact in the event of EHS inspections from clients, regulatory agencies, or internal and external sources. Participate in meetings and perform toolbox talks as needed. Technical Services Manager Responsible for management of location or onsite relating to collection, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and materials. Operations Technician The hazardous waste Operations Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of hazardous waste incineration equipment. This role involves handling, processing, and disposing of hazardous materials in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position is a 12 hour rotating shift from 4:30-4:30 Essential Functions & Requirements: * Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. * Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations. * Conduct regular inspections and audit of the incineration process and equipment. * Maintain accurate records of incineration activities, including waste type, quantities, and disposal methods. * Prepare and submit reports on incineration operations, emissions, and compliance. * Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, and combustion processes, both in the field and the Central Control Room. * Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of incinerator equipment. * Manage the unloading of hazardous waste materials. * Be an active member of the Plant Emergency Response team. Education: * Must have high school diploma or equivalent. (required) Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in hazardous waste management, incineration operations, or a related field. (required) Competencies: * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Must be a team player. About the rolethe Receiving Inspector will make sure inbound and outbound materials are in conformance with our QMS standard. Inspector will verify shipments are accurate and match against purchase order and/or invoices. Key accountabilities Comply with all health and safety rules Visually, dimensionally, and functionally inspect items for quality, appearance, and conformity to standards. Determining the accuracy of heat codes and material test reports (MTR's) Reviewing MTR's, certificates of conformity, and any other test reports with engineering specifications for acceptance. Recording inspection and test data. Generating inspection reports and documenting non-conformances. Monitor shipments and deliveries. Report quality anomalies to supervisor. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Know and understand quality policy and comply with all QMS requirements. Perform other duties as required. Industrial environment. This role will require a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting and walking on a constant basis. May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. Role SynopsisThe Construction Specialist will manage projects tied specifically to construction activity. This role will also assist with pre-job planning, scope of work, budgeting, and bid review. Key AccountabilitiesResponsible for pipeline construction projects including new installations and repairs. Lead the execution of multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring oversight, HSSE and business performance Manage BPX oversight of all construction crews to ensure compliance with BPX and regulatory requirements. Assist engineering to generate work packs including site layouts, P&ID's, bill of materials, and cause & effect diagrams. Initiate and progress MOC's for pipeline construction projects. Participate in risk assessments associated with design changes, both for new facilities and for expansions of existing facilities. Work with PSCM to develop work packages for cost estimate/bid process. Ensure accurate cost tracking for execution and maintenance activities. Oversee all aspects of project execution and ensure all project documentation is complete. Identify and implement efficiency improvements by performing post project reviews and using new technologies/approaches to the construction process. Responsible for providing support for new startup of facilities. Provide positive leadership while being a team player. On an annual basis, RM generally plugs and abandons between 5 and 8 wells of varying complexity. Scope of work may also include dismantling of abandoned infrastructure associated with the well field. bp Canada: legacy P&A investigation into leaking well notices from regulators and, if needed, P&A services for bp Canada under the attached bp Canada SLA. The role would consult with and advise in-country liability manager. Alaska: Legacy exploration wells (and associated environmental matters) outside the bpxa sale to Hillcorp. At present, there are only two active regulatory directives for P&A and environmental/reclamation work; Foggy Island Bay State #1 (completed in 2024) and Gubc Unit No 1 (work to start in winter 2025/2026). There are approximately 65 well sites with known bp heritage company ties. As the Alaska sale to Hillcorp was completed in 2020, residual P&A and environmental scope were assigned to RM. RM is working to firm up governance on this process thru the Wells organization. Legacy wells present distinct difficulties. These wells are aged and have been inactive for extended periods, with frequently inadequate or non-existent drilling and plugging records. They are typically situated in remote areas, on third-party owned property and may be built with unconventional/unknown casing and cements designs. The RM Legacy Wells Specialist manages all aspects of legacy well plugging and abandonment (P&A). This includes collaborating with BP Legal and the RM Land and Legal Team to confirm BP's responsibility for P&A, coordinating with land agents to secure site access, communicating with landowners and regulatory agencies, planning project activities, selecting and hiring contractors, overseeing P&A operations, handling demolition and removal of existing structures such as tanks and pipelines, and completing site restoration. A detailed list of specific responsibilities is provided below.
