Administrative Compliance Specialist Job Duties: Review, validate, and correct existing data within the designated internal compliance system, focusing on resolving inconsistencies, duplications, and outdated records. Identify and tag missing or incomplete required documentation. Accurately input new or corrected data and documents into the system following established procedures and controls. Document data cleanup steps, issues encountered, and proposed solutions for future reference and process improvement. Perform quality checks on corrected data to ensure it meets internal standards and regulatory requirements. Track progress and report on data cleanup metrics, highlighting areas of persistent data quality issues to the Compliance Manager. Assist the Compliance and IT teams with ad-hoc administrative tasks related to the system cleanup project. Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and regulatory inspections. Communicate with clients to gather waste information and explain profiling requirements. Coordinate with disposal vendors to ensure timely and compliant waste acceptance. Maintain databases of waste profiles, pricing, and vendor information. Generate reports on waste volumes, costs, and trends for internal use. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE • 3+ years of experience in waste management, environmental services, or hazardous materials handling. • Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, EPA, and state-specific waste regulations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and waste profiling software. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Certification in hazardous waste management is a plus. PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds.
