You'll Bring These Qualifications:

+ Required Experience: Minimum 12 years of Army Military Intelligence experience and experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

+ Minimum 12 years of experience as a 35N, 352N; 3+ years tactical and 3+ years operational experience as an intelligence professional spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons.

+ Required: Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).

+ Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.

+ Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Deputy Task Leader to join our System Engineering Team in support of the Aegis Technical Representative contract. The qualified candidate will be located in Mount Laurel, NJ and provide Engineering and Technical support to each of the Division heads at AEGIS TECHREP and the BAE Senior Leadership. The candidate will join an (USN / contractor) integrated team dedicated to providing independent quality assessments across all phases of computer program development on behalf of the U.S. Navy. The candidate will also manage the overall technical approaches and aspects of the system engineering processes across the USN, BMD, and FMS subtasks.

This position requires the ability to supervise and oversee the managerial day-to-day aspects of the SE subtask leads and divisional project coordinators, direct and assist with all technical activities across all SE processes, and mentoring junior personnel through the employee enrichment program. The Deputy Task Lead will also assist the Task Leader and the SE Division Head in identifying both strategic and near-term goals and objectives and develop technical plans and approaches to achieve the departmental goals and objectives. This individual must possess a foundational understanding of AEGIS at the system and performance product team levels. They must also have excellent writing skills and articulate technical ideas, value added verbiage to SE processes, and posture professionally in front of an audience of business executives and government stakeholders. This individual must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish realistic and achievable goals, yet be flexible in order to pivot to changing schedules, priorities, urgent tasks, and administrative staffing needs.
Specific Technical Responsibilities.

Specifically, the SE Deputy Task Leader will be responsible for:

* Managing and overseeing all technical aspects of the SE processes and test programs.
* Coordinating with Test & Evaluation, Advanced Technology, COG, and Divisional Baseline Coordinator Team counterparts to monitor, trend, and manage SE aspects across all programs
* Identifying, prioritizing, and assessing potential problems to proactively ensure the Task Leader and Navy customers are cognizant of impacts
* Ensuring SE tasking, reporting, and contractual assignments are articulated correctly in the workflow tool
* Mentoring and training personnel taking into consideration the gaps in the current team's abilities and competencies
* Managing the Subtask Leads oversite of the Product assignments to ensure:
* Technical content and accuracy of Product Team assignments and planning
* Value added statements articulated in the SITREP production from all team members inputs
* Identification, procurement and allocation of resources necessary to ensure all tasking and objectives are accomplished
* Daily interface with the Task Leader and Navy customers for the coordination and resolution of any urgencies and problems related to SE Team performance
* Assisting the Task Leader in administering task related jobs and functions
* Support schedules and all SE resource requests
* Assess and mitigate workloads when prioritizing assignments
* Seek the application of digital improvements to develop SE monthly contract reports
* Providing continuous process improvement inputs across the SE staff
* Enhance the Employee Enrichment Program by continuously expanding automated training modules
* Review and provide constructive feedback on the sub-task inputs to the SE weekly reporting.
* Provide support to select meetings in the absence of the SE Task Lead, such as the Program Reviews

**This Opportunity**

WSP is currently seeking a Geologist / Environmental Scientist / Engineer as a technical task manager to join our North Atlantic Operations team and will reside in either the Portland, Maine, Rocky Hill, Connecticut, or Bayside New York office.
