Skills - Headstrong Services LLC seeks Principal Consultant - Technical Lead (Java/BPM/Middleware) (multiple positions) in Danville, IL to be responsible for technical delivery of IBM BPM, Java/J2EE, and Middleware technologies development projects using Agile methodology. Manage Level 2 and Level 3 support for implemented projects. Analyze requirements, identify various components or sub-components to be developed, and identify all internal/external interfaces for data exchange. Define technical design, effort estimations, coding, testing, debugging, and document solutions that are required to full the project requirements. Drive Business Process Management ensuring automation of processes work as per defined requirements and service level agreements. Responsible for process modeling, implementation, integration of technologies, performance tuning, improvements, and maintenance. Responsible for estimates for any new enhancements or extensions, provide solutions for identifying gaps, and identify opportunities to improve systems and architecture by working with teams. Coordinate technical development activates., Evaluate and report performance of the project. Provide technical direction and supervision to offshore team, review their deliverables, and keep track of progress. Ensure all issues or risks identified are resolved or mitigated. Participate in daily scrum calls. Participate in the creation of user stories, feasibility analysis, effort estimation, and prioritization of change requests. Participate in the daily team calls and provide update to servicing project manager for incidents. Coordinate with deployment teams and other related groups for successful rollout of new system/component in production. Coordinate with end users for User Acceptance Testing and obtain sign-off.
Education - Position requires a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Technology or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree experience in the job offered, or related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in Danville, IL with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with no additional travel required. $94,723 to $99,459 per year.
