Job Description 1. To service the customer by loading their purchases. 2. Receive, store, and distribute products sold by the Agri-Center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and products from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Reads customer load orders or load out sheets for merchandise or feed products and assembles orders from stock by placing orders on pallets or wheeler and loading on the customers vehicle or a trailer. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Drive forklift to transport items to be stored or to be loaded. Take quarterly inventory. Rebag broken bags of feed products. Keep warehouse, dock, and grounds swept and picked-up. Meet and deal with public, our customers, in a manner so that they will come back.
