We are seeking a Senior SAP Tax Consultant with 15+ years of experience to lead global e-invoicing and statutory reporting integrations across multiple European regions. The role requires deep expertise in SAP tax data, statutory compliance, and third-party tax solution integrations, with hands-on leadership across the full project lifecycle-from discovery through post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
Global E-Invoicing & Statutory Reporting:
• Lead end-to-end e-invoicing and statutory reporting integrations for European countries using vendors such as Pagero, Sovos, Thomson Reuters, and KGT
• Act as the SAP Tax subject-matter expert for regional and global compliance initiatives
• Ensure solutions align with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
Discovery & Solution Design:
• Drive discovery workshops with business, tax, and IT stakeholders
• Analyze and respond to vendor questionnaires and compliance requirement documents
• Identify and document SAP data requirements, source fields, and dependencies
• Review and validate technical and functional blueprints, ensuring SAP readiness and compliance
SAP Design, Build & Integration Support:
• Support solution design, configuration, and integration activities within SAP (ECC / S/4HANA)
• Validate SAP tax data mappings, master data, transactional data, and output formats
• Collaborate with SAP technical, middleware, and vendor teams to ensure seamless integration
Testing, UAT & Go-Live:
• Support unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT by validating SAP tax data accuracy
• Assist with cutover planning and go-live execution
• Ensure compliance readiness before go-live through detailed data validation and sign-offs
Post Go-Live & Compliance Monitoring:
• Monitor e-invoice and statutory submission flows post go-live
• Investigate and resolve SAP data, configuration, and integration issues impacting tax compliance
• Work closely with vendors and SAP teams to ensure continuous compliance and system stability
Governance & Stakeholder Management:
• Act as a trusted advisor to business, tax, and finance stakeholders
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
• Ensure adherence to project governance, documentation standards, and audit requirements
Required Skills & Experience Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in SAP Tax, SAP Finance, or Statutory Compliance
• Proven experience in global e-invoicing and statutory reporting implementations, especially for Europe
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP with Pagero, Sovos, Thomson Reuters, KGT, or similar tax vendors
• Strong experience across SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
SAP & Functional Expertise:
• Deep understanding of SAP tax data models, document flows, and reporting structures
• Strong knowledge of VAT, e-invoicing mandates, SAF-T, real-time reporting, and country-specific compliance
• Experience with SAP FI, tax procedures, and output management (IDocs, XML, APIs)

About The Team
Kreischer Miller continues to prosper and grow! With approximately 250 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking busy season (January-April) interns for 2027.
Our Busy Season Internships run from early January to early April and are full time and in person. Any hours worked during a work week in excess of 40 hours will be paid at a rate of time and a half. Due to the nature of the work associated with this department, it is not uncommon for there to be overtime in the evenings and/or on weekends. It is our understanding that no classes will be taken during this timeframe, without prior authorization from Kreischer Miller.
Our Interns are given a wide variety of diversified assignments under the supervision of talented CPA's. At Kreischer Miller, you will have the opportunity to work with business owners in a variety of industries and learn directly from leaders in our firm. Performance is judged based on the quality of work, application of accounting knowledge, and ability to provide excellent client service.
An Audit & Accounting Intern may perform the following duties:
Learn and apply the basics of the daily technology used in our Audit and Accounting department.
Assist Staff and Senior Accountants with tasks such as mailing client confirmations, updating internal control forms, preparing depreciation schedules using our software.
Prepare basic work papers in excel to test client accounts such as cash, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and fixed assets.
Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Directors on our Audit & Accounting Team.
A Tax Intern may perform the following duties:
Learn and apply the basics of the daily technology used in our Tax department.
Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and/or trusts.
Prepare tax work papers in excel; use Adobe to "mark up" client workpapers.
Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Directors on our Tax Team.
Education & Skill Requirements:
Working towards BS or MS in Accounting, resumes without GPA will not be considered. Please include graduation date and the number of credits expected upon graduation. A transcript is also requested. If you have credits at more than one school, please obtain all school transcripts.

Working Conditions:
Work location will vary depending on client assignments. Our interns may work in our office in Horsham, PA or from client locations in the tri state area (PA, NJ, DE). Typical work day will be from 8:30am to 5:30pm with an hour lunch break.
