Requirements

As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting Accounting, Payroll, Finance and outside departments with tasks to keep each area running smoothly. This position is part of our accounting team and reports to the Assistant Controller. Pay potential: $55,000 + depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data
Produce financial report and financial statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Daily, weekly, month and year end reconciliation
Payroll and commission calculations
Fixed asset activity
Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Accounts payable/receivable and inventory management
Operations Reporting
Cash flow analysis
What you'll bring:
Accounting/AR/AP experience (automotive dealership preferred but not required)
Degree in Accounting or Finance field
Ability to direct and supervise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational and multitasking skills
An awesome attitude with impeccable interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
QuickBooks experience helpful
Strong technical proficiency required, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel (queries, formulas, data analysis), Outlook, and working with query-based files and data systems. Candidate must be comfortable navigating, analyzing, and troubleshooting data in multiple formats
The ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Neat, clean, and professional appearance

We are seeking an experienced Senior TaxAccountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role reports directly to the Tax & Regulatory Manager and is critical in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax requirements. The successful candidate will prepare and file corporate tax returns, research tax issues, support planning initiatives, and assist with audits. This position requires excellent analytical skills, strong technical tax knowledge, and a high degree of accuracy.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Assist preparing federal income tax returns
Providing guidance regarding state and local tax
Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Maintaining thorough and organized tax records and documentation
Assisting with development and implementation of tax planning strategies
Preparing reconciliations and analyzing tax-related general ledger accounts
Responding to inquiries and resolving notices from tax authorities
Supporting federal, state, and local tax audits with documentation
Calculating Book-Tax differences (including 263A) and preparing Schedule M-1
Assisting with the calculation and recording of the company's tax provision under ASC 740
Staying up to date on changes in tax laws and communicating impacts to management
Supporting internal controls over tax processes and assisting with special projects as needed
Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
5+ years of taxaccounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Experience preparing C-Corp tax returns
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

Assist in key month-end activities: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, allocations, and financial review.
