Conduct accurate quality reviews of tax returns; confirm returns are prepared within the scope of the VITA program and the preparer's certification. Provide on-site tax expertise; answer client and volunteers' questions, and provide assistance as necessary. Ensure all documents are returned and a copy of the completed return provided to the client. Provide operational support to the Tax Site Coordinator. Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold IRS standards of conduct. Qualifications Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of the following: English and Korean proficiency are required. At least 1-2 years of income tax preparation experience (VITA program experience highly preferred). Must successfully complete IRS Link & Learn certification at the Advanced Level. Familiarity with TaxSlayer software preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with customer service highly preferred. Ability to work weekends. This position will begin in mid-January and end in mid-April. The salary will be $23/hr. Position Summary: The Tax Pillar oversees tax compliance for the clients of the family office, which includes investment and business entities as well as non-profits, individual and trust returns.
