Work with automation tools (e.g. Alteryx) to reduce redundant tasks by using innovative techniques such as Robotics and designing process flows. Review transaction tax data to ensure it is accurate and analyze variances prior to sending data to 3rd party outsourcer for filing. Responsible for reconciling all tax liability accounts. Responsible for the review; analysis and streamline tax processes. Perform special projects, as required, assigned by Manager. Assist the exemption group with research, information needed and issuance of Resale and/or Exemption Certificates, as required. Candidates will need to have: Thorough knowledge of State taxes, such as Sales and Use and other pass-through type taxes. Knowledge of the compliance process and how tax returns are filed. The ability to develop methods to streamline processes and develop tax planning strategies to minimize company's cash flow and overall tax burden.
