System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for a Senior Tax Accountant. This position will report to the Tax Manager and work with a small, collaborative team that is growing. Will work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare a variety of income tax returns for a variety of entities and individuals meeting tax deadlines
+ Determine estimated tax projections
+ Stay current on tax law changes and utilize tax research and planning skills to identify and communicate problems and/or opportunities and propose solutions as a family advocate
+ Develop working relationships with internal and external parties to improve information sharing, data accuracy and consistency
+ Effectively communicate results to appropriate parties and internally on project information
+ Consistently be looking for ways to improve processes to gain efficiencies

Requirements:
+ Minimum of 3 - 5 years of tax related experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
+ Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping along with knowledge of tax compliance and all types of tax returns; partnership returns and individual 1040 returns a plus
+ Proficient in tax software and Excel
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
+ Team player who treats others with respect
