Billing & Collections

Internal Reporting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis
* Serve as "Forecast Champion" for assigned department head, creating and updating detailed forecasts in Adaptive, with timing aligned to Marmon forecast and budget timelines as communicated by the VPFinance/IT.
* Complete financial analysis projects as requested by Accounting Manager, VP-Finance/IT or President. Examples of analyses include but are not limited to pricing compliance and customer deductions.
* Serve as backup for generating daily "booked to go" and weekly sales reports for distribution to the organization, identifying and documenting key changes that may be useful for the users (e.g., large new orders, order timing shifts, canceled orders, etc.).
* Serve as accounting support in the completion of key Marmon internal controls such as collection and first round review of audit support requests as well as completion of the inventory count preparation for all in person physical counts.

Your Role on Our Team
As an Accountant II, you will be on the Operations Accounting team at Milwaukee Tool supporting several domestic manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual that can operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
What You'll Do:
Execute month-end close activities, including closing costing module, preparation and posting of journal entries, validating cost data and resolving discrepancies.
Responsible for the ongoing, timely, and accurate preparation of account reconciliations.
Support audit requirements by providing documentation and explanations for operational accounting transactions.
Perform daily costing analysis to monitor production variances and inventory valuation.
Demonstrate agility by adapting to changing needs of the finance and operational departments, providing insights and support decision-making through transactional analysis.
Work in cross-functional groups to create more efficient and accurate business processes.
Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.
Ability to collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data and create meaningful, accurate reports.
The Tools You'll Need to Have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2+ years of experience.
Proficiency with Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint required.
Ability to work well in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The Other Tools We'd Like to See:
Public accounting or industry experience in manufacturing is preferred.
Proficiency with large scale ERP, Oracle preferred.

Job Description
Prairie Trust , a division of Waukesha State Bank, is seeking an experienced Fiduciary Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of fiduciary tax compliance for our trust and wealth management clients. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and filing of fiduciary income, estate, gift, personal income, and IRA-related tax returns. Serving as a subject matter expert, the Fiduciary Tax Manager will consult with clients and attorneys on complex estates and administrative trusts, provide tax planning guidance, support estate administration matters, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation within a trust department, accounting firm, or law firm, along with strong technical, research, and communication skills. A CPA, MST, or JD is a plus.
