Accomplishes tasks with particular emphasis on internal and external customer service and seeks to add value for the organization's management. Key Responsibilities: Codes, classifies, and batches vendor invoices for data entry into the GL Accounting System in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the TSA Uniform Standards of Accounting and Financial Reporting. Performs a variety of accounting support work including journal entries, reconciliations, invoicing, reviewing requisitions, and filing; provides general information regarding the department operations and/or services; processes incoming and outgoing mail; handles Petty Cash. Reconciles Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Historical Aged Trial Balance reports against open invoices from external and intercompany vendors, and against corresponding Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable accounts in the General Ledger. Processes and reviews all invoices and recognition of revenue in the General Ledger, ensuring that timing and cutoff's are properly observed.
