The Revenue Accountant is responsible for the accurate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of gaming and non-gaming revenue and related liabilities. This role supports daily operations, audit functions, and month-end close by ensuring revenue data is complete, accurate, and consistent across multiple operational and accounting systems. The Revenue Accountant plays a critical role in safeguarding assets, supporting management decision-making through financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with Tribal, federal, and gaming regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
Reviews monthly activity against budget and investigates variances.
Maintain General Ledger system for revenue and liability accounts and review the accuracy of transactions posted
Performs various account reconciliations and maintains financial statements reconciliation records.
Works directly with internal and external auditors and other outside regulatory agencies to offer inspection of documentation and assists in the preparation of all necessary documents prior to an external audit.
Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Typically requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and minimum of 2-4 years of experience in revenue audit, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in a casino/gaming, hospitality, or similar operational industry.
Pay range: $27.00 - $35.10 per hour
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
