Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial consultations and gather necessary client documentation Advise clients on the tax preparation process, deductions, credits, and liabilities Prepare and file accurate individual and business tax returns in a timely manner Analyze financial and tax data to optimize client outcomes Audit all forms and ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with current tax laws Respond to inquiries and correspondence from clients and tax authorities Provide proactive tax planning strategies for future years Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information Build long-term client relationships and support business development through excellent service Sign tax returns on behalf of clients when authorized Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Active PTIN and completion of the Registered Tax Return Preparer Test (or equivalent certification) Minimum of 5 years of professional tax preparation experience In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and integrity CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus
