As a Senior Tax Associate, you will:
Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including OVDP and Streamlined compliance filings.
Review client data, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience (required).
Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
Hands-on experience with journal entry preparation and accrual vs. cash basis accounting.
Proficiency in calculating GILTI.
Experience preparing a wide range of tax forms, including 1040, 8858, 8865, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, and FBAR.
Familiarity with CFC and foreign partnership classifications, as well as Check-the-Box elections.
Software experience preferred: UltraTax or ProSystems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Spanish fluency required in Aventura; preferred in Coral Gables and Boca Raton.
