***Typical Day in the Life***
As a Tax Senior Associate you will be responsible for working with clients to assist them with the transition of wealth from one generation to the next. A typical day as a Tax Senior Associate might include the following:
* Working with clients to ensure relevant tax-related information is gathered so that an accurate tax return can be prepared.
* Preparing fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by required deadlines.
* Working with the tax and wealth transition team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed.
* Looking at the tax situation of the individual and their estate from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
* Working with the national Wealth Transition Services team on various projects.
* Attending professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
* Effectively interacting with all levels of staff, clients, and other external business contacts.
***Who You Are***
* You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and hold a valid CPA license or are working towards obtaining a CPA license (preferred); Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
* You have 3 or more years of experience in public accounting tax work including experience with gift, trust and estate tax returns.
* You have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* You are a multi-tasking master and there is never a deadline you can't meet.
* You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies.
* You have a knack for solving problems and easily notice issues while bringing solutions to the table.

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
Salary range: $68,000.0 0 - $120,000.00
