Our client is seeking a Temporary TaxPreparer to join their team in Louisville during the busy tax season. Will work with individuals and businesses to complete accurate tax returns on time. This is an excellent role for experienced taxpreparers or retired CPAs who want seasonal work.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individual and business tax returns.
Review tax documents such as W-2s, 1099s, and financial statements
Enter and check financial data for accuracy.
Ask clients for missing or unclear information.
Follow federal and state tax rules.
Use QuickBooks to review or support tax information.
Keep client information private and secure.
Communicate clearly with internal staff and clients.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns
Experience using professional, high-end tax software (QuickBooks experience preferred)
