    Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Accountant you will roll up your sleeves to be the liaison with the practices, assisting with daily cash, bank activity, inventory, month end entries and overall financial statement reviews for profit and loss. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. * Two or more years of accounting experience required. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred. Issue Research: Support the team by researching client issues or questions related to financial services, tax filings, or account management, and provide necessary information for resolution. Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks: Assist with various back-office tasks such as processing transactions, filing paperwork, distributing bulk client emails, and ensuring that all necessary operational duties are completed efficiently. Prepare engagement letters and other required forms for client signatures. Manage and track filing deadlines to ensure timely submission. Qualifications Associate's degree in accounting, business, or related field is preferred. Prior experience in an accounting or tax preparation environment preferred. Proficiency in in tools including Salesforce and CCH Axcess Tax desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Proven experience in document processing and administrative roles. Familiarity with tax documents and basic terminology. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical aptitude to facilitate daily work and ability to quickly learn required software applications.
