KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB TASKS

Prepare financial reports including but not limited to order reports, item and customer profitability, inventory and other ad hoc reports;
Analyze inventory and recommend corrective actions including avoiding low stock levels, analyzing product performance, quality issues, and maximizing sales and reducing overstocks;
Contribute to the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance;
Pursue continuous improvement in all areas of the business with an emphasis on, Operations, Supply Chain, Selling, Marketing and Finance;
Various Ad-hoc analysis and projects as assigned by the CFO;
Support the CFO in the maintenance and creation of the monthly/ yearly budget and model.

Job Description
Grassi's Tax Department is expanding and looking to hire a busy season tax intern to work with our team and help support the department in a variety of ways. Interns will be scheduled on a variety of industries and clients while working in small groups with other Associates, Semi Seniors, Seniors, Supervisors and Managers. Interns will assume responsibility for appropriate level areas of tax administrative items and client deliverables including preparation of tax returns, including individuals, partnerships, and corporate tax returns. Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to work in-person in our Boston, MA, Providence, RI or Newport, RI offices
Prior experience with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM and/or similar software as well as MS Office
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stated deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment and exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
This is a full-time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required during peak busy seasons.
Pay Range:
The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
$73,000.00 - $85,000.00
