Pay Range Information

In addition, Project Accountant performs a variety of accounting functions such as grant accounting, mandatory financial reporting, account reconciliations for grants and developer escrow agreements, and capital asset projects. The position also assists with budget preparation and supports the annual audit process within assigned areas of responsibility.
Typical Duties:
* Monitor and analyze project costs against budgets; record financial transactions, reconcile project accounts, process payments, identify variances, and provide financial insights to project managers.
* Track and record expenditures of federal grant funds to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements.
* Maintain account reconciliations for grants and developer escrow agreements related to City projects.
