Taylor Truck Line company history timeline

1957

Taylor Truck Line was founded in 1957 in Northfield, MN by Jerry Taylor, who built the business around the term “customer service.” As the business grew, he remained careful to not grow beyond the ability to serve his customers with the highest quality.

When Jerry Taylor started the company in 1957, business deals required no more than a handshake, and customer service was a personal commitment.

Rob learned these principles from his father Jerry, who began trucking full time in 1957, and soon established himself as a man to whom "customer service" was more than a mere slogan.

1989

In 1989, Rob bought the company from his father and, after several years, began expanding its dry van and flatbed operations.
