Students are encouraged to combine traditional academics with spiritual and experiential learning through the following types of opportunities: * Chapel services * Community service and volunteer work through the school's World Outreach program * Faith-based communities on campus * Freshman Irish Studies Program * Honors Guild * Internships * Ministry trips * Research projects * Study abroad Undergraduate and graduate degrees offered at TU include: Biology, Elementary Education, Exercise Science, Media Communication, Professional Writing, and Psychology. Certain degree programs (i.e. Business Administration) can also be taken online. Individuals who want to enroll at TU should submit an admissions application along with a personal essay, transcripts, standardized test scores, and references from a counselor and pastor. Grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study financial aid programs are available to help with lowering tuition costs. The FAFSA is required to determine eligibility for all sources except for scholarships based on merit. To meet the needs of its students, TU has made multi-million-dollar improvements to its main campus, including the addition of the Eichling Aquatics Wing and Euler Science Complex, and upgrading the Media Communication Department and residence halls.
