YOU HAVE EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS to effectively manage deliveries in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities while being respectful of the company's and clients space and surroundings.

YOU ARE DETAIL-ORIENTED with the ability to ensure proper loading of truck and trailer, complete accurate accounting of materials and equipment as requested for projects, and able to test construction related tools for proper operation and maintenance.

WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR & DRIVER ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

In the first 30 days and ongoing:

  • Complete onboarding program in the first week which includes basic safety training and equipment training certification.
  • Already have forklift certification and are comfortable loading and unloading trucks and trailers with a forklift
  • Already be able to confidently tow a 20' trailer.
  • Become familiar with the company's procedures and protocols.

By the 90-day mark and ongoing:

  • Be able to independently load and unload truck and trailer for deliveries.
  • Navigate confidently to delivery destinations as provided by the Warehouse Manager and transport orders safely and securely.
  • Demonstrate general safety knowledge, wearing appropriate safety equipment, using tools safely and remaining accident-free

Within the 6 th to 12th-month mark and ongoing:

  • Maintain all delivery vehicles
  • Be able to test construction related tools for proper operation and maintain tool inspection safety logs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and workspace.
  • Work directly with the Warehouse Manager to manage and maintain warehouse inventory.
  • Communicate with team members and the Warehouse Manager multiple times a day to stay in contact and communicate progress and delivery statuses
  • Show integrity, compassion, and empathy when dealing with team members that embodies the culture at EWBI
  • Display pride in work and encourages the same work ethic in others

WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR & DRIVER EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of construction background required
  • 3+ years' of delivery driver experience required
  • Forklift experience and certificate required
  • Experience towing 20' trailer and navigating construction sites
  • Can perform general physical tasks common to warehouse delivery position (lifting 80+ pounds regularly, lifting 50+ pounds overhead, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, repetitive motion, use of hand tools)
  • Experience operating ratchet straps and ability to competently secure a load
  • Computer skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power-point, Word)
  • Possession of a valid CA Drivers License, good driving history and dependable transportation required and clean background check
