Job Description
• Client is seeking a skilled professional to provide expertise in many areas of data management including but not limited to data warehouse reporting , data analysis, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Provide these services in support of external agency goals such as program performance, process compliance, data quality, and data governance. Provide expertise with SQL-Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL-Server Analytical Services (SSAS), and Tableau.
• Duties include, but are not limited to: Designs, develops, and delivers SSAS reporting cubes and SSRS reports; provides expert level data and process analyses data for data warehouse and systems integration projects; provides expertise in the use of business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Analysis Services and Microsoft Reporting Services; and works closely with Data Architect and ETL staff to ensure proper design and compliance with database and development standards.
• QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive experience with applications using both relational and multidimensional design models. Extensive experience with Transact SQL including stored procedures and user defined functions. Experience working with programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL, .NET, VBscript, MDX).
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft data architecture and reporting tools required: SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and exposure to SSIS. Experience with a variety of reporting tools including SSRS, Tableau, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and others.
• Considerable experience in performing data analyses in project as well as ad hoc settings.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a structured environment, to deliver quality systems within a management-approved schedule, and to work on technical teams as required.
• College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent training and experience. Working knowledge of n-tier application development tools and techniques (MS Framework, .NET, VB .NET, Python, etc.) is preferred.
• DELIVERABLES:
Developing several analytical cubes and associated reporting for several lines of business including DOJ, CSB, Licensing, and REACH reporting. Other areas may be assigned as needed. Provide training to new users for SSRS report development and SQL basics.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Design, simulate and test navigation and communication systems (i.e. steering control, gyro, ECDIS, speed log, echo sounder, magnetic compass) to verify operation and software modifications.
* Develop programming and equipment standards for steering and other navigation systems.
* Prepare technical documentation such as reports, procedures and test plans in support of all aspects of shipboard control systems.
* Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing shipboard electronic equipment.
* Document system issues and revise design specifications and other detailed documentation for new control systems and modernization efforts.

Responsible for designing, testing, and implementing internal network solutions. Maintaining and providing Tier 3 support for the network infrastructure, including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, network appliances, and wireless APs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership to the network services staff, ensuring the IT needs of faculty, staff, and students are met. Responsible for completing and delivering regular audits and assessments and providing reports as are required by regulatory agencies and management. Responsible for designing, testing, and implementing internal network solutions. Partner with project managers on network solution analysis, business requirements, and risk assessments. Provide Tier 3 support to all network related service desk incidents. Sustain technical expertise in all areas of LAN/WAN/WLAN capacity planning, network architecture design, unified communications, and engineering for a secure IT network. Maintain and coordinate the installation and configuration of hardware and software elements within the network, unified communications, and security areas with the proper use of OSI & TCP/IP standards. Perform security hardening per baseline configurations and established best practices. Perform all other duties associated with the administration of the Network Services as required to insure service delivery. This position will report directly to the Data Center Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience. 7-10 years related experience of network topologies (LAN/WAN/WLAN), routers, switches, firewalls, packet analysis, and other network based hardware and software, including applications and scripting. Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, IP routing, LAN and WAN protocols, campus and data center switching, and load balancing.
