We are seeking a Human Resources & Operations Manager to join our growing boutique firm. This is a high-impact role within our Administration team, responsible for overseeing HR, payroll, financial operations, and employee development. Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Payroll
Manage all employee and contractor payroll, reporting, and reconciliations (ADP experience preferred)
Oversee onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors, including documentation, system setup, and compliance
Administer background checks, drug testing, licensing, education verification, and reference checks
Manage workers' compensation and unemployment claims
Handle multi-state HR compliance, licensing, and registrations
Maintain HR records, internal reporting, and company-wide communications
Financial & Operational Oversight
Manage financial duties similar to a controller, including payroll accounting, reporting, and coordination with leadership and external partners
Support QuickBooks processes, reconciliations, and internal financial reporting
Oversee contractor payroll and compliance
Training, Learning & Development
Own the planning, scheduling, and execution of all training and learning & development initiatives
Manage new hire orientation and ongoing employee development programs
Partner with leadership and consulting teams to support internal training needs
Continuously improve onboarding, training materials, and internal processes
Additional Responsibilities
Create and post internal job openings as needed
Serve as a professional point of contact for employees, contractors, and external partners
Represent the firm with a high level of professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll (required)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to manage confidential information

A Day in the Life of the National Channel Manager:
Supports team with the evaluation and assessment, as to bid or no-bid, of wholesale opportunities.

Your role.
You'll help instill confidence in organizations large and small by assuring their financial health. We'll give you the flexibility to craft business solutions, not just spreadsheets. Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Considering tax issues associated with mergers and acquisitions
Researching complex tax issues and write technical memorandum
Assisting with international tax structuring and operational issues
Preparing tax returns and serve as an integral part of engagement teams for clients
Assisting with National Tax Office functions, such as writing internal and external tax alerts on current tax developments and emerging planning techniques
Assisting with internal tax education function
Assist with handling the tax aspects of transactions

The qualifications.
Strong interest in the tax law, as demonstrated tax courses completed or planned before graduation

Must be pursuing a LLM, JD, or CPA license
