About this Role
The Assistant Project Manager/Engineer supports the Project Manager in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of a project, such as project planning and scheduling, monitoring project progress, communicating with stakeholders, coordinating with team members and subcontractors, tracking project expenses, and ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget. The assistant project manager/engineer may also be responsible for preparing reports and assisting in resolving any project-related issues that arise during the course of the project. Ultimately, the Assistant Project Manager/engineer plays a key role in helping to ensure that the project is completed successfully and meets its objectives.
Location: This role will support project operations in Wink, TX with long term opportunities post project completion
What You'll Do
Assist in estimating project scope and costs
Manage project expectations and execution of subcontractors
Maintaining project documentation
Tracking project expenses and budget
Preparing reports
Communicate with clients and subcontractors
Attend and actively participate in project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required.
Research and preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval
Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions
Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes
Assist with the submittal and RFI processes
Assist in the early completion and tracking of billing
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering)
2-5 years of direct experience
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems
Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills
Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time
Tactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, etc.), paired with industry experience
A good understanding of how to read drawings and specifications
Familiar with computer-based estimating
Knowledge of billing and collections

Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs. Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
Responsible for contract submittals that are accurate and timely.
Responsible for creating and issuing the Subcontractors' contracts.
Responsible for the assembly and timely delivery of the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Ensure that the project quality control plan is followed.
Interacts with subcontractors to ensure we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date.

About this Role
The Project Manager at Irby Construction Company is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage transmission and distribution projects, overseeing multiple crews, and ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of powerline construction experience, in-depth knowledge of OSHA codes and standards, and the ability to manage all aspects of project execution from pre-construction through closeout. What You'll Do
Pre-Construction Planning
Attend pre-construction meetings with estimators and stakeholders.
Review bid packages for accuracy, completeness, and scope.
Provide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods and equipment.
Assist in developing construction schedules, plans, and organizing crews.
Work with Superintendent to assign foremen to job tasks and generate lists of required personnel, equipment, and tooling.
Arrange for personnel and equipment transfers to projects.
Support pre-construction activities including bid preparation, contract and exhibit review, and execution planning.
Project Planning & Management
Oversee budget projections for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Ensure project expenditure remains within established budgets, implementing cost-saving strategies.
Develop, update, and manage project schedules
Prepare billing packages and submit documentation to clients.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly projections and track progress across all activities.
Provide accurate project cost forecasts and develop monthly cost-to-complete reports.
Prepare, submit, monitor, and maintain all project submittals and RFIs.
Analyze cost reports and identify methods to optimize expenses.
Manage the invoicing or payment application process for completed scopes of work.
Construction Execution
Review and become familiar with multiple contracts; ensure compliance with specifications.
Accountable for quality of work and safety performance.
Visit crews to monitor safety, quality, and production.
Assist foremen in coordinating major project activities and critical tasks.
Attend project meetings with owners and stakeholders.
Update schedules and progress reports; verify as-builts and progress charts.
Ensure all change orders are documented and billed.
Maintain communication with inspectors and owners regarding quality, safety, schedule, and materials.
Execute corrective actions for delays, adverse weather, or emergencies.
Coordinate and support emergency repair and storm restoration efforts.
Contract Administration
Prepare, review, and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts align with company policies.
Maintain supplier relationships and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive records of working documents per document control practices.
Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Present project updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure all project documentation supports schedule and budget adherence.
Stakeholder Communication & Issue Resolution
Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Lead meetings to resolve work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients.
Follow up on complaints from owners, the public, or landowners.
Material & Quality Management
Develop and oversee project material trackers based on BOM, drawings, and scope.
Monitor inventories, production, shortages, and damages.
Ensure productivity, efficient use of materials/equipment, and contractual performance.
Monitor quality of labor, equipment hours, material, and subcontractor reporting.
Team Leadership & Development
Mentor and guide associate project managers and coordinators.
Foster a collaborative and performance orientated team environment.
Lead daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, including agenda and minutes.
Arrange and participate in weekly foremen and monthly safety meetings.
Participate in monthly job safety review meetings.
Review personnel with Operations (evaluations, pay raises, CDL requirements, etc.).
General Duties
Accountable for cost, progress, and schedule for the duration of the project.
Assist business unit with monthly forecasts.

May work in storm restoration operations to rebuild/repair damaged power systems.

What You'll Do
Project Leadership & Execution
Direct all phases of the project lifecycle-from kickoff through commissioning and closeout.
Lead project handoffs from the estimating department and finalize baseline schedules
Accurately identify schedule constraints and responsible parties; update schedules weekly and manage unplanned events.
Planning & Coordination
Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant execution.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Lead weekly progress meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, challenges, and resolutions.
Financial & Risk Management
Maintain cost tracking, change order management, and risk mitigation plans.
Manage and report project financials, including Percent Complete, Cost-to-Complete, and WIP metrics.
Approve and process AP invoices; finalize and submit AR invoices to clients.
Maintain and coordinate change order logs with operations for formal client requests.

The Project Manager II is a senior project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support to two to four concurrent projects of small to medium crew size or one to two concurrent projects of large crew size. About this Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex design-build/engineer-procure-construct (DB/EPC) projects with a primary focus on data centers and mission-critical facilities. This role oversees all aspects of project execution-including contract administration, engineering, procurement, scheduling, and construction management-with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, large-scale data center projects safely, on time, and within budget.
The Project Manager will lead integrated teams, coordinate directly with enterprise clients, and ensure seamless execution across design, procurement, and construction. This position may require on-site presence at project locations and supervision of field operations.
What You'll Do
Manages integrated Design-Build (DB)/Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) teams from project inception through completion, including during pursuit phase if requested
Provides overall direction and coordination of intermediate and final engineering design and construction activities for data center facilities
Administration and management of the prime contract, construction subcontracts, and purchase orders
Ensures compliance with customer goals and expectations associated with safety, quality, and environmental stewardship
Plans, executes, and provides reporting on overall project performance
Works directly with the customer to ensure optimal communication, customer satisfaction, and effective coordination between the project and other activities occurring at the jobsite
Mitigates and effectively resolves potential disputes
Develops and provides oversight to ensure compliance with project-specific health and safety plans and project-specific quality control and quality assurance plans
Responds to and/or oversees Requests for Information
Performs value engineering and constructability reviews
Develops a procurement status report with the engineering design, procurement, scheduling and estimating teams, and defines the segregation of work by subcontract and purchase order packages
Develops and/or oversees subcontractor and supplier scope, price, and schedule exhibits for subcontract and purchase order packages
Works with procurement teams to coordinate local bidding efforts
Procurement oversight of subcontracts and purchase orders
Reviews and approves subcontract and purchase order invoices
Oversight of subcontractor and purchase order submittals
Develops initial project-specific schedules in conjunction with engineering design, scheduling, procurement, and field construction staff
Monitors the overall progress of conceptual design, intermediate and final engineering design, and construction activities
Administers and manages changes to the prime contract

Submits and expedites timely receipt of progress payments
Coordinates, prepares, and presents progress, budget forecasting, and schedule management reports on a monthly basis

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
8+ years' experience in Construction Project Management, with at least 3+ years managing large-scale data center projects
Proven ability to manage DB/EPC projects involving MEP-intensive systems (power, cooling, redundancy, and critical infrastructure)
Strong knowledge of data center construction methods, materials, and equipment, including commissioning and turnover processes

What You'll Do

Review and approve change orders, submittals, RFIs, and progress documentation.
Manage subcontractor and vendor performance, optimizing sequencing and resource utilization across electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines.
Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and I&E systems.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to increase project efficiency.
Lead client-facing meetings, provide project status updates, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

About this Role
R.R. Cassidy, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager in Beaumont, TX who will manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of work related to greenfield and brownfield projects at substations, switching stations and/or collector stations. The Project Manager will report directly to the Department Manager and is responsible for the profit and loss of individual projects, the successful completion of projects within specified dates, and establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with the Owner, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders. This is NOT a remote position; you will be required to travel to Beaumont, TX, Monday - Friday.
What You'll Do
Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.
Provide overall management of projects from concept to completion including siting, planning, estimating, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and closeout.
Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
Assist with internal project financials', staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and human resource issues.
Serve as primary point of contact with client regarding efforts such as client coordination, strategic planning, master scope management, budget finances, subcontracting, project staffing, environmental compliance, facility support and schedule attainment.
Manage all aspects of project communication
Develop and implement project policies and procedures, establish project controls systems, and implement the project execution plan.
Work closely with the Project Team to ensure deliverables and services are being provided to client's satisfaction and that projects are following internal QA/QC guidelines.
Report regularly on progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring office support.
Ability to travel. Valid driver's license required.
Must be able to report to work at the Beaumont office Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited curriculum preferred.
Minimum of seven years of utility substation physical and protection & control project design experience with at least 1-year related project management experience preferred.
Professional Engineering (PE) registration preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
