About this Role
NorthStar Energy Services is seeking an experienced and driven Civil Superintendent to lead field-based construction operations focused on structural and concrete scopes across power delivery and energy infrastructure projects. Based in Houston, TX, this role requires travel to project sites as needed. The Civil Superintendent will play a critical role in managing subcontractors, enforcing quality and safety standards, and ensuring successful execution of complex concrete and civil packages in high-performance environments such as commercial, petrochemical, residential, and data center construction.
What You'll Do
Supervise all field activities related to concrete placement, forming, rebar installation, foundations, and flatwork
Coordinate and oversee civil subcontractors and field labor to ensure work is performed to specifications and schedule
Interpret civil and structural drawings, blueprints, and engineered plans; lead layout and elevation checks
Conduct daily jobsite inspections for safety, quality, and productivity
Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to sequence work, resolve field issues, and validate design intent
Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, QA/QC standards, and jurisdictional building codes
Prepare daily reports, maintain site logs, and assist with progress documentation and look-ahead planning
Support material takeoffs, delivery coordination, and equipment readiness
Participate in project kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings as the civil/concrete field lead
What You'll Bring
10+ years of experience supervising concrete/civil work on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of concrete foundations, slabs, anchor bolt placement, reinforcing, and embedded systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
Demonstrated success managing subcontractors and field crews in high-performance or schedule-driven environments
Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills
Proficient in field technology tools (e.g., tablet-based reporting, layout equipment), preferred
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed across Texas from a Houston-based home office
Physically capable of walking job sites, climbing ladders, and performing field inspections in variable weather, preferred

About this Role
NorthStar Energy Services is seeking a seasoned Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Superintendents to oversee all electrical and instrumentation construction activities for projects based out of our Channelview, TX. This leadership role ensures safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of I&E work in compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and client standards.
These positions will support anyone of the following projects in West Texas and be expected to be on site for duration of project.
1. Dickens County
2. Borden County
3. Glasscock County
What You'll Do
Supervise and coordinate daily I&E field operations, including labor, subcontractors, tools, and materials.
Interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, and loop diagrams.
Schedule work activities and monitor progress to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
Interface with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope and execution.
Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation of labor, equipment, materials, and work performed.
Assist in estimating, planning, and scheduling I&E scopes for future projects.
Mentor and lead field I&E personnel to promote workforce development and performance.
Be knowledgeable in tracking projects completion percentages and project budgets.
What You'll Bring
8+ years of progressive experience in industrial I&E construction
2+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role, required
Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State of Texas) is a plus
Strong understanding of NEC, ISA standards, and industry best practices for I&E systems.
Experience in the energy, petrochemical, or industrial sectors preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
OSHA 30 certification, preferred
NCCER or other recognized certification, preferred
Ability to be on project site until completion (estimated Q1 2027)

About this Role
At R.R. Cassidy the General Substation Superintendent Foreman oversees all field construction activities related to electrical substations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies. This role leads multiple crews and subcontractors, coordinates daily operations, and acts as the primary on-site authority for construction sequencing, quality control, and safety compliance.
What You'll Do
Supervise and direct all on-site substation construction activities, including civil, structural, and electrical installation.
Plan daily and weekly work schedules, allocating manpower, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, planners, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Conduct daily job briefings and toolbox talks to communicate work plans, hazards, and expectations.

About this Role
The Senior Project Manager of Preconstruction, BESS is responsible for leading the preconstruction process for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) opportunities, from initial client engagement through contract execution. Typical project sizes range from 5 MW to 200 MW.

Coordinate internal and external resources to lead bid/no-bid decisions.
Define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines; coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver compliant, cost-competitive proposals.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure strong relationships and clear communication throughout the proposal development process.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Supervise and direct all construction aspects, ensuring quality standards and schedules are met and profitability is assured.
Coordinate construction activities, from inception to move-in, including scheduling and supervising trade partners.
Maintain compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Oversee the construction process, including pre-construction meetings, inspections, and final walkthroughs.
Manage documentation, including approving change orders, and purchase orders, and safety logs.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer care, and management, to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to the SWPPP compliance program, as well as other quality standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness requirements.
Your Toolbox
High school diploma or GED required, college preferred.
Experience in residential construction management preferred.
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage.
Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and the ability to read blueprints.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. This is primarily an active position which requires the Construction Manager to have the ability to work in excess of eight hours a day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. The Construction Manager must be able to operate computer equipment, see, speak, and hear. Finger dexterity is required to operate an iPad and phone. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, around hazardous chemicals, dust, and dirt.

Job Summary
The Porter Co., Inc is currently looking for a Project Manager that responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires experience leading multi-million dollar mechanical construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for mechanical construction projects.
* Manage project budgets, contracts, and financial performance.
* Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
* Provide technical advice to both clients and employees working on assigned project.
* Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Ensures accurate and timely project documentation, including but not limited to, RFI's submittals, schedule updates, time records, supplemental work orders, change order pricing, and general project correspondence.
* Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams; Monitor all work performed on assigned project.
* Conduct regular meetings to track progress and address challenges.
* Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project management processes.
Qualifications
