This role oversees global product managers across regions and manages all aspects of the portfolio-from new product development to go-to-market strategies and product roadmaps, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations. The Sr. Director will also identify and lead growth opportunities through partnerships or inorganic initiatives, acting with an entrepreneurial spirit and a general manager mindset to meet sales and gross margin targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Market Sensing & Strategy Development**
+ Identify market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

**COMPENSATION**

Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Electrician Teams install, repair, and maintain wiring, electric fixtures, and control equipment in the facilities they support. They complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Duties:
* Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and simple mechanical and instrumental equipment.
* Read blueprints and technical drawings.
* Perform installation and repairs of motors, starters, electrical controls, and electrical equipment.
* Run conduit, pulls wires, and make connections with a minimum of assistance.
* Maintain parts inventory and availability.
* Records daily activities in a logbook.
* Must be able to respond to emergency plant calls as needed.
* Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
* Maintain work area per plant standards for safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
* Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies. Ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and all other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
* Operate, install electrical systems and perform a functional test of building and/or plant equipment (e.g. machines, motor controls, room remodels), as required.
* Determine if the system should be shut down or if work must be performed with a power source on.
* Lock out, tag out, and try out equipment and related systems, as required.
* Perform primary and secondary tests on electrical breakers during routine maintenance.
* Replace, update, and retrofit breakers, as required.
* Perform routine tests on high voltage switches and relays, using high-potential test equipment (Hipot), and replace switch or relay, as required Monitor current, voltage, amperage, frequency, and watts hours at sub-stations using a line computing system Check and service electrical systems, using infrared analysis sheets to locate hot spots in the service panel, as required.
* Service and maintain electrical systems on various types of overhead cranes.
* Install and perform routine maintenance on all types of lighting fixtures (e.g. fluorescent, halide, standard) clean and check sockets, replace ballast and bulb, as required Install, replace and repair fiber optic cable for computers and computing systems, as required.
* Bend conduit and install junction boxes, as required.
* Pull wire of various gauges and color through the conduit using a fish tape, install and connect switches and outlets.
* Check work after completion or after each operation; ensure the job is per drawing and WAC. NEC codes.
What your background should look like
* High school education or equivalent.
* 3-5 years of experience in the industrial electrical field.
* At least 3 years of experience as an Electrician or apprentice Electrician license (EL01 &/or EL 07) or an apprentice training card.
* At least 1 year of experience maintaining industrial equipment.
* This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations and must be able to pass fall protection training.

Job Requirements

* Experience in the manufacture of wire and cable, heat shrinkable tubing, and compounding

* Conducts daily audits of the manufacturing processes to ensure all safety, quality, and process standards are being followed.

* Prepare and obtain quotes and materials needed for manufacturing equipment changes or improvements.
* Work from verbal instructions, sketches, blueprints, or other TE departmental input such as TEOA toward process changes or improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet customers in the Bay Area locally and frequently.
- Build and maintain critical relationships with the Customer's Engineering teams locally in the Bay Area and Austin, as well as with extended teams in Asia.
