They will participate in department training, tutor training and professional development, mentoring and annual peer reviews. Professional Tutors may be a liaison for academic programs in assigned subject areas and/or career communities. In all duties this position must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students and colleagues, in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and be fully committed to the mission and values of Lansing Community College and adherence to the community college philosophy.
