General Purpose A Teacher Assistant - Deaf Education is responsible to the County Superintendent and works under the direct supervision of the designated manager(s). Description Teacher FLSA: Exempt QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold proper state certification REPORTS TO: Principal and/or other Supervisor TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: New teachers 193 days; returning teachers 188 days with benefits provided according to the Teacher's Negotiated Agreement. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Participate in curriculum review and design. Implement a variety of effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives.
