PURPOSE
The classroom aide will assist classroom teachers in providing an appropriate education for students. He or she will also have responsibilities in supervising groups of students before school, during lunch and recess, and after school.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Missouri substitute teaching certificate; 36+ college credit hours, or Associates degree, or 20-hour DESE sub course, or ParaPro assessment.
Preferred: Prior experience in a school setting and/or working with young people. Bachelor's degree, Missouri teaching certificate, previous teaching experience, ability to work in a team teaching setting; A strong desire to teach and be responsible for instructing children as assigned.

PURPOSE
This position is responsible for elementary classroom instruction and training to students.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated both individually and collaboratively.
Plans and implements a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of all students using data-driven decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Bachelor's degree; Missouri teacher certificate in Elementary Education.
Preferred: Missouri teacher certificate in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 3) and Elementary Education (Grades 1-6).
