Job Description HRDI is seeking a Teacher's Aide to assist in the instruction of pupils and perform additional related duties as required. In addition, the Teacher's Aide will: Assist the teacher in the preparation and implementation of planning documents and the evaluation of student progress in academic and behavioral areas. Immediately reports to certified staff any student behaviors, problems or special circumstances which are violations of the student handbook. Communicate effectively using the designated methods, with parents as necessary regarding student progress, behavior, activities, and development. Employ creative methods of instruction and utilize a variety of materials within the structure of the designated curriculum Inform the principal whenever a student's attendance is unsatisfactory; Provide the principal with an up-to-date copy of the schedule of classroom activities and lesson plans; Assist in preparation of reports and individualized plans for students and ensure that all paper work in legible and submitted in a timely manner. Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences. Perform such other professional duties as may be assigned by the principal.
