Assist in the tracking of ongoing ILSP activity on campus. Maintain records of all ILSP related services that are administered to residents. Develop data collection techniques for collection of information needed for ILMS database. Maintain database records and update information as and when needed. Assist Behavioral Health Clinicians in ILSP documentation. Provide instructional classes on Independent Living Skills for groups of children who are eligible. Update ILS information and service plans at unit meetings and update files. Represent Agency employment opportunities for residents off campus, such as interviews, follow-up and program understanding. Take residents on ILSP field trips. Develop for residents appropriate off-campus employment experience and a group of potentialemployers from local community who are orientated to our program, as approved and directed by the Director of Residential Services. Arrange for residents to get ILS training in designated areas. Establish ILS groups on a weekly basis, either during program hours (as deemed appropriate by the school and/or employment office or after 3:00 PM weekdays). Function as a liaison and resource person with ILSP resource programs and agencies. Review resources (tapes, games, etc.), determine usefulness to program, and keep an updated list circulated through the Agency of what is available for staff to use. Cultivate off-campus service agencies as part of the ILS class work program. Lead field trips appropriate to the goals of The William George Agency ILS program. Be aware of the developing changes in The William George Agency ILS program to insure compliance with New York State Independent Living Skills mandates. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Residential Services. Responsible for adhering to and performing all duties in accordance with every safety standard, practice and policy of The William George Agency. This includes, but is not limited to, review of The William George Agency's Safety Policy and attending all required safety related training.
