Disinfects bathroom floors, walls, toilets, sinks, showers, spa, utility room and equipment, etc. Empties and cleans waste baskets. Ensures appliances are cleaned. [1] Balances residents needs and routines with tasks needed to be completed for cleaning. [1] Works alongside other team members to meet the individualized needs of each resident. [1] Follows isolation policies and procedures when sanitizing isolation rooms. [1] Stocks needed supplies in resident rooms. [2] Assists in providing individualized or group activities based on resident preferences and needs as assigned. [1] Supports all aspects of person-centered care. [3] In this public service position, employee is required to be courteous, cooperative and respectful always, with the public and clients. Also establishes and maintains a courteous, cooperative and respectful working relationship with other employees, supervisors and public officials. [3] Physical demands: Uses near vision, stands, walks and moves around the facility 6.5 to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift. Uses hands for delivering personal care and treatments. Communicates with residents and other staff members using talking and hearing. Read and write English. Bends and stoops to a squat within six inches of the floor, pushes and pulls linen carts, wheelchairs with residents weighing up to 250 pounds or more. Lifts 35 pounds, transfers up to 50 pounds. Uses nursing-related equipment such as thermometer, blood pressure device, scales, mechanical lifts and adaptive/restorative equipment. Related Job Functions Works safely and follows the safety practices and standards of the facility including Blood Borne Pathogen Standards. Uses a gait belt and proper body mechanics when involved in lifting, pushing or pulling activities. Always uses 1-2 staff when using mechanical lifts. [1] Escorts individuals or groups to dining room and other facility activities. [2] May drive facility vehicles in the transportation of residents to program events, medical or dental appointments etc. [2] Reports to work on time and when scheduled. [3] Assures that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift. [2] May be directed to assume some training responsibilities for new employees who are not as familiar with the nature of the work. Ability to conscientiously observe facility rules, regulations and policies. Ability to work effectively with a variety of residents including those with dementia and mental illness. Meeting federally mandated 12-hour in-service requirement annually. Training, Experience and Other Requirements Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant at time of hire. Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry within 120 days from date of hire. A nurse aide student enrolled in an approved nurse aide training program may be permitted to work for up to 120 calendar days, if the person is employed full-time by a federally certified nursing home. The person must be placed on the Nurse Aide Registry by the 120th calendar day from the date of enrollment in the approved program. Must be at least 17 years of age. Must successfully pass a background check as required by the Wisconsin Caregiver Law. Preference for individuals with prior experience performing facility cleaning work. Prefer experience working with geriatric or mentally ill populations but not required. Employees driving County vehicles must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Job Description This job posting is for a Lead Teacher/Float position in our Daycare center. The person we are looking for, ideal, would work 8:30-5:30 with a 1-hour break. This position would be for someone who would be willing to go into all the classrooms when needed to cover due to staff being gone for the day or out sick. They would cover the teacher's responsible that day in the room continuing to develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
