JOB DESCRIPTION:
The E2 Instructional Aide assists the E2 program coordinator by working with elementary aged students on educational and enrichment activities. The position requires both before and after school work hours on MCPS school days and additional work hours as needed on non-school days. The aide works a flexible schedule on school days during the school year. On non-school days or during the summer months, the aide may work additional hours as needed and approved. The position allows the aide to work up to 25 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The lunch and recess aide maintains order among children, assists in the directing of the students to and from the cafeteria, performs general housekeeping in the cafeteria, and assists cafeteria staff with any other necessary duties. The lunch and recess aide assists in the directing of the students to and from the playground and classroom, communicates with teachers about student behavior during recess, and assists teachers with any other necessary duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively with students and co-workers
Have previous experience working with children
Dependability and punctuality required
SALARY: $15,928.00 - $28,210.36 annually; commensurate with experience and prorated to start date
